Sarah Cohen is the Knight Chair in Data Journalism at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism in Arizona, U.S. She previously worked as the editor of the data journalism team at The New York Times that focused on original investigative and enterprise reporting and as a data editor for The Washington Post. Her work has been awarded most national investigative journalism awards, including the Pulitzer Prize, the Goldsmith Award and the Robert F. Kennedy award for public service and the IRE medal. For three years, she served as the Knight Chair in Computational Journalism at Duke University. Cohen is past president and elected board member for Investigative Reporters and Editors.
