What makes this project innovative?

User-friendly and easy to navigate interface that helps to analyze salaries at most publicly traded U.S. companies. The design used in this project provides a broader look at pay distribution, as well as an interactive functionality that facilitates further data exploration.

What was the impact of your project? How did you measure it?

This data is pertinent to all our readers, and we wanted to present it with straightforward customization. It was one of our most viewed graphics of the year. Nearly half of visitors came to the page via social media, evidence that it generated high engagement levels with our subscribers.

Technologies Used

We used node.js for data acquisition and live data feed and d3.js for data visualization.
