Project description

More than 22,000 children a year are dying in Kenya due to failure to vaccinate against pneumonia, Save The Children an international charity has said.It kills two children under the age of five globally every minute, or almost 1 million a year, which is more than malaria, diarrhoea and measles combined.Treatment of pneumonia in children has been problematic in Kenya for a long time due to costly but largely ineffective syrup medicines. The highlights were comparison of the two pneumonia drugs (AMOXICILLIN DT and AMOXICILLIN SYRUP) and the prevention.
