Project description

We have set a goal to tell about Kyrgyzstan so that it was interesting and clear. Not everyone wants to read about boring numerals and percent’s, but citizens were happy to learn what would happen if only a hundred people were remained in Kyrgyzstan. It has turned out that 34 persons would were children’s under 15 years. 27 citizen’s would look for work, studied at the university, received pension or were engaged in household. The work would have had in 23 men and 16 women. Beside of them, it would be 12 farmers, 4 builders, 3 teachers, one doctor, 1 person would work in restaurant and hotel business and 6 were in trade.

What makes this project innovative?

The main point of this work is exceptional and unusual view to common and boring statistics. We wanted to describe the information in such a way that even a child could understand it. Moreover, it was important to pay attention to the fact that in society with one hundred people there are not so many representatives of highly qualified specialties. For instance, only one doctor for whole society. It also indirectly reflects the shortage of medical officers in the country.

What was the impact of your project? How did you measure it?

This article was widely discussed in social networks. Many of them were surprised that we have so few doctors. I think it has also influenced our youth people, who were thinking about their future specialization.
