In his 100 Day plan, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chief Imran Khan promised the creation of 10 million jobs over the next five years if his party came to power.
Not to be outdone, Pakistan People’s Party’s Asif Zardari promised one government job for each family without a member in government service.
My story analyzed very simply whether Paksitan\’s economic potenial can lead PTI or PPP to honor their committments.
What makes this project innovative?
This is very simplistic analysis with the help of time clock and a unique idea of comparing election promises of two parties on same subject.
What was the impact of your project? How did you measure it?
This story was among the top read and it simply deconstruct the myth of 10 mliion or 30 million jobs promises by PTI and PPP respectively. No one had an idea that PPP's claim is mukch larger than PTI, once I debunked it through my story this become generated a useful debate in media.
